Hello again, friends!
I’ve finally gotten my act together and put together Volume 2 of our little art club. This time we’ve got a rad all-female lineup of some seriously talented creators. Enjoy!
Hailing from New Zealand, Maku currently lives in Australia’s art hub, Melbourne, and creates vibrant, watercolour pieces. I love the juxtaposition of her delicate line work paired with colourful watercolour palettes. I bought two of her peices a couple of years ago and desperately want more. Maku also donates a minimum of $10 from every order to one of her chosen charities – which is super freaking cool.
Veronika Weroni Vajdová aka Weroni
Weroni was a pretty recent find on Society6’s instagram. I originally saw her Orange print and instantly fell in love. There’s something so whimsical and dreamy about her prints – and who doesn’t girls with pastel-coloured hair? Veronika uses a combination of digital illustration and watercolour and she continues to blow my mind with her creativity.
Elle is an Australian artist based in Brisbane. I’ve been drooling over her prints for the last 4 or so years, and need to get my butt into gear and buy one ASAP! Elle specialises in realistic, pencil drawings, but also dabbles in watercolour, oil and acrylic paints from time to time. I am obsessed with her hand series, as well as every single ocean drawing she’s ever produced. Elle is one gal you definitely need to have in your feed.
Stay tuned for the next installment – and if you’ve got any artists that YOu adore, please put them in the comments below. I love discovering new creatives 🙂
